Welcome to Discovery Christian Centre

We are groups of believers excited about knowing Jesus Christ and discovering more of his grace - ordinary people experiencing and serving an extraordinary God. We see our primary calling as ‘helping people find and and follow Jesus’. 

We are excited about the church, for in relationship together we provide a growing sign that Jesus’ Kingdom really has come. And as we encourage each other and serve together we become more effective in God’s mission – seeking to transform his broken world.

Sunday Gathering
We are a church family of all ages, seeking to honour the Lord and follow his path for life together. Starting at 10am we join together in Worship and Prayer - honouring and praising our God in all things. We share in biblical teaching with the aim of transformation as we grow in our understanding of the character and works of Jesus Christ. We are committed to supporting and encouraging each other in our daily lives, and our work for the Lords Kingdom. The Service finishes at approx. 11.15am, but we encourage you to stay and have morning tea and discussion.

Children are a wonderful part of our life together, we cater for all ages with Creche (under 4yrs), Discovery Kids (4 - 11yrs), and REACH Youth for the High School age.

Communion
We share in Communion once a month.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:23-25

Discovery Christian Centre is part of the Fairfield Presbyterian Parish and part of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand.
