Church Leadership

Christians in the Gordonton area have been meeting together since the 1880s. Today we are made up of two interconnected church communities Oaks Christian Centre in Gordonton and Discovery Christian Centre in Hamilton, known as Fairfield Presbyterian Parish. The two churches are overseen by a combined Eldership, known as the Mission Leadership Team (MLT).

Oaks day-to-day activities are managed by our Church Council with associated leaders and teams. There are lots of ways to be involved, talk to a leader for more information.

Our Vision

United together, we seek to help people come to know Jesus Christ, flourish in Christian community, and experience spiritual growth. Supporting one another, we express to others the good news of God’s kingdom, locally and globally.
