The Vision we have here at Discovery
for the Church we want to be:

We see a church unmistakably honouring the name of Christ -
wide open to his transforming Word and Spirit.

A church made up of disciples of every age and of diverse cultures -
where every member is totally devoted to growing more like Jesus,
and living out a radical Christian lifestyle in today's world.

A people irresistibly drawn to worshipping our known awesome God.
Of being part of a dynamic fellowship renowned for its love and caring.
A people constantly renewed in the Spirit, exercising their gifts,
and serving sacrificially in the Kingdom.

A people whose passion is to reach out to the lost with the Good News of Jesus.
A church without walls - totally open to a lonely needy community.
A church primarily focused beyond itself - actively involved
in God's great purposes in the whole world.

We see a church united in love and totally dependent upon God.
A church diverse in ministries and powerful in prayer.
A church larger in numbers and stronger in faith.
A church actually manifesting the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
